Eh- it looked pretty good, the game has a very nice minimalist feel to it and the incredably high jump makes you feel agile. However, the random level design and confusing portals mechanic makes the levels difficult to navigate and don't compliment the high jump mechanic as you're generally stuck underground. The falling blocks stop the player in his tracks and stops the flow to the game, the places they are located often just kills you after you navigated a difficult section. Without any form of checkpoints and the fact that you lose a bit of what you are carrying it can get frustrating, I would rather they weren't in game.

The timer on the cow levels seemed to have no reason other then to stop you in your tracks. There's no reason to it, nothing to suggest a danger and the level is filled with falling blocks.

The look of the game and the animations are well made- the game play does need a bit of work though. I wish you the best of luck!

Thank! Great feedback.

About lvl design and checkpoints - I do hardcore platformer, nobody said it was easy to play ))
About blocks - you mean, block kill you when you uppear on next world? right after the teleportation?

Eh... I got used to the weird controls and managed to survive for quite a while by going up and down the stairs/ using the special every now and then... even used the glasses but everyone except for the clerk seems to be an alien. 2000 cash reward was still knocked down by about 1300 for the kill penalty which makes grinding for upgrades a pain (Especially since they went from 3000 to 6000)

I guess it's a statement on what the film was going for, controlling n such... it doesn't make for fun gameplay. It's an interesting idea though

Not sure why most of the comments are on the control scheme... wasd movement, lk for picking up, throwing and dodging. Seems normal to me (Using a qwerty keyboard anyway. Not sure where the buttons are on other keyboards. I would recommend research into alternate keyboards or changing key bindings)

I did wonder how to start for a second, after clicking the button I pressed enter. A 'press k or enter to start' at the beginning would help.

Either way- I enjoyed the game, it's length seemed just right and the change in direction kept it interesting. Good job!

Managed to finish it in the end (With a little help and a few restarts) It's a pretty awesome idea, although there are a few deadends (I pressed the fan so many times that it became difficult to have the current version of me ontop... then I discovered I needed to combine the tape, rope and magnet to use on the fan rather then the magnet on it's own XD

Still, a fantastic idea. I loved the idea of paradoxes (Stealing a key from yourself) and the teamwork (Opening the chest with two scissors/ cloning items), while there were a few deadends it gave a sense of 'Oh no, is that the time already?! Old me is going to mess this up! I hope I don't mess things up for future me' etc.

Pretty good idea, it was quite fun once I got used to it... it got a bit boring when I had to start from the beginning each time though, it felt more like a level based game rather then a randomized 'see how far you get' kind of game

It had a few really frustrating parts, but the creative ways of splitting up, the spaced out abilities, the upgrades, the diversity etc made it an awesome game that I really enjoyed in the end.

Shift as jump didn't effect me too much, turned off sticky keys/ the weird 'hold shift for 5 seconds' a long time ago . I can understand the none qwerty keyboard problem though, tiz a shame because it seems like heck of alot of effort went into this.

Game controls nicely, there are a few things that slightly annoyed me... some of the jumps getting interupted by the spawning clones, checkpoints weren't clear 'save game' indicators (I kept hitting escape and looking through the description before nervously quitting). The toilet mission confused me for a second since the boss's shoulder piece had been placed right next to it, making be try and push it towards the golden pipe. (Second time round I remembered I had a fire attack, however it wasn't clear that elements actually had an effect on items in game)

Thank you for your review. I appreciated it.

I really liked this, the art was surprisingly good and it was always clear where you had to go next. Every boss had an interesting twist that wasn't frustratingly difficult to work out but did make you panic alot (Looking at you dragon and spider boss xD Thank god for good game design or I might not of pressed z to unstick the sword)

The last boss didn't really have much to it though, I liked the build up to the fight. Found it a little too easy but I knew I was missing two orbs. I read the description and realised it was unfinished D: Aw! I was looking forward to it! Glad you posted it though, I hope you will continue it at some point! (It doesn't seem like there's that much to do xD I haven't used AS2 in ages, no idea what help I would be on that front xD)

Emptygoddess responds:

Thanks for the offer. But the main issue is that the current build is sitting on the last programmer to flake's computer! I want it so i can finish it but don't know if i'll ever get it. Haven't spoken to him in like two years. Never responds to my stuff. Makes me sad.

I found the game alright, thankfully I read the review section and found out about the stamina bar crouch thing. It worked well in shadow of the colossus (Which I believe the game takes inspiration from, especially with the boss fight) but it was highlighted within that game that running out of stamina made you fall, where else in this game running out of stamina did not visually effect anything and it wasn't made clear that wall jumping required stamina (At least for most people, I'm a bit biased as I read a review explaining the wall jump).

All in all, I actually enjoyed the game. It's a bit unpolished and short but I liked the atmosphere and the boss battle was actually done quite well.

Loved this, really liked the ideas behind it and the level design. I finished the game wanting more which is always a good sign!

Onwards, to the player levels!

When it loaded up I thought it might be an indie art game that pretends the matrix is an original concept followed by an abrupt ending. I wasn't in the mood to play this game and kinda judged it harshly, I'm really glad I stuck with it though, I'm invested!

The game feels polished and I actually really like the control scheme with the mouse. It's slightly different to most games I've been playing and I can imagine some awesome levels that involve alot of dodging.

World wise, it's actually a really awesome setting. It gives a bit of nostalgia since I remember dreaming about creating a virtual world where normal people and players worked/ played when I was a kid (Which is possibly one of the reasons I got so into it). I also really like the literal silent protagonist that is slowly gaining emotes to communicate.

Really looking forward to seeing the game world, it actually ended perfectly in that sense! I really made me want to see more of the game! What does the world look like? What does the evil player want? What new words will Lea use?

You all have my support on this game! :D

I'm new to flash... but i'd like to hear from scripts/ collabs/ help/ partnerships/ anything! You don't need flash to write a script ^-^ That's really all i have to say...
